Words of caution about MS drug development
« on: January 13, 2018, 07:18:20 am »

This brief comment appears in Nature Reviews Neurology (January 12, 2018). The authors are well known in MS research. Timothy Coetzee is with the National MS Society in New York, and Alan M. Thompson is at the Faculty of Brain Sciences, University College London.  The title is "Unified understanding of MS course is required for drug development." The authors seem to be implying that  not enough is known yet about the MS disease course to justify the proliferation of MS drugs that we are currently seeing.
