March as MS Awareness Month -- blogpost by Jamie Hughes
« on: March 26, 2017, 08:24:02 am »
This commentary on MS Awareness Month (March) by Jamie Hughes appeared in MS News Today (March 17). I don't wear an orange ribbon but there's something to be said for raising awareness of MS.  When I was diagnosed in 1980, I usually drew a blank if I told someone I had MS or multiple sclerosis. That's no longer true. Maybe it's been people like Montel Williams and Annette Funicello--and the US President as shown on "West Wing," or maybe the orange ribbon and other campaigns have helped.
