MS Discovery Forum (February 12, 2014) has listed the 8 research advances in MS research for 2014. As the article states,

The task of choosing the most notable advances fell to Jiwon Oh, M.D., Ph.D., and Paul O’Connor, M.D., of St. Michael’s Hospital and the University of Toronto, Canada, who published their selections in the February 2015 Nature Review Neurology
