Limited hand dexterity

How to prepare and eat food when your hands aren't working right? I don't have all the answers but here are some modifications that work for me.

I don't bother with food that has to be cut up. I might occasionally peel an orange or an apple, and many days I peel a banana, but that's about the extent of my food preparation. Otherwise I put something frozen in the oven or microwave or on top of the stove, but it's always something I don't have to cut up. (I don't eat meat.)

Plastic dishes have been the only kind I use for about 40 years now. They work fine.

There are spills, lots of them, but I don't ever deal with hot liquids. No hot tea or soups.

I wear an apron at meals to cut down on the damage to clothes.

Some utensils of mine have easy-grip handles --the peeler, for instance.
