Some editing on the old board
« on: June 11, 2016, 09:22:55 pm »
The old MS Speaks board is undergoing a few changes in some posts.

I've never wanted to tinker with others' posts without the permission of the authors but when someone has died, a problem arises.

A message board like this one has been was meant for people to discuss whatever they wanted, and some people inevitably made remarks about family members or friends that weren't meant for those people to see. Or at least I assume they weren't if they were angry or critical.

Three of the most active members of this board have died--Janith, Matt, and Dave.

I have been going through their posts and removing any remarks that they probably wouldn't have wanted to share with people who weren't on this board.

There haven't been many of these deletions but it seemed like a good idea. When someone dies, others often have access to that person's information, including passwords.
