Future plans for this board

Often there are no page views for my daily posts, and so maybe it's time to explain that this board exists, not just to attract readers to it, but for my own use.

I have found it helpful to look up a topic here.

Maybe others will find topics that are helpful to them here too.

This board will continue even if nobody else is reading here.

My interest in finding out more about this disorder that takes so much away and does it so abruptly goes back to the 1980s. Back then there was no Internet but there was a periodical called Multiple Sclerosis Indicative Abstracts. I subscribed to it for years. It was a little like PubMed. It listed all of the most recent research papers dealing with MS. Sometimes I wrote to an author for a reprint of an entire article, and the author nearly always obliged, sometimes with a nice note written across the first page of the article.

MS Speaks isn't shutting down.
