This study in The Lancet Neurology (November 23, 2020) finds that several drugs commonly prescribed for MS fatigue are no more effective than placebo "and caused more frequent adverse events." The article is entitled "Safety and efficacy of amantadine, modafinil, and methylphenidate for fatigue in multiple sclerosis: A randomised, placebo-controlled, crossover, double-blind trial":
