People with MS seem to be at greater risk of a heart attack than the general population.  From PubMed (March 8, 2019), an abstract of a Canadian study entitled "Traditional risk factors may not explain increased incidence of myocardial infarction in MS":

Two of the authors of this study--Tremlett and Marrie--are well known in MS research.
