Beta interferon drugs for MS seem to prolong life for over 30% of persons w/RRMS

This study is concerned with all of the interferon drugs in use for MS (interferon beta 1a and interferon beta 1b)--like Betaseron, Avonex, Rebif --"Common treatment for multiple sclerosis may prolong life" from the UBC News (March 18, 2019).

The study subjects were people with relapsing-onset MS--they either had RRMS or had SPMS that had had a relapsing onset.
