Possible blood test to monitor MS disease activity

From Medical News Today, November 30, 2017, an article about a study involving only 85 people  followed for 2 years but apparently showing that there's a nerve protein, called neurofilament light chain (NFL), that can be detected in the blood indicating when new MS lesions are developing.  This could be promising news, but they have a way to go yet.
