"Fish gotta swim, birds gotta fly"
« on: February 09, 2017, 09:32:08 am »
Years ago I sent a pet cat by plane halfway across the US through a company called Flying Fur. The cat arrived safely without a problem. So maybe it's not too surprising that for $630 per bird, you can get a seat on a plane for your falcon. The falcon might even get its own passport. This article from BBC.com (February 7) compares this method of transporting birds of prey to an old art form known as the "vanitas."
