(BBC News) Afrofuturism--comics about Africans by Africans
« on: January 10, 2019, 09:33:26 pm »
From BBC News (January 10, 2019) a video about a movement toward creating comics about Africans that are done by Africans. One of the artists points out that if you look at a typical Western science fiction comic, you'll see only white people in it. He observes that this implies that there will be no Africans in the future, and he is interested in changing that.
