As someone who is still wearing a mask when likely to have contact with people, I was interested in this comment on a recent study that appeared in the New England Journal of Medicine. The comment is in the "Summary and Comment" section of the NEJM for November 15, 2022. First the article is summarized, and the comment appears after it.  The title of the comment is "To Appreciate the Benefits of Masking, Revoke the Policy and Watch What Happens":
