Royal Russian Faberge Easter eggs not all accounted for
« on: March 25, 2016, 03:45:24 pm »
Back in the days of Tsarist Russia, the Russians--well, some Russians anyway--really did Easter up in style. The royal family fell into the habit of giving one another fancy Fabergé eggs, exquisitely crafted creations of gold and jewels.

Fifty of them were made for the royal family but since the Revolution, they've been scattered all over the globe.  It seems that 7 of them are still missing.

You can see and read about some of the Fabergé eggs here.
