The threat of greed in US health care

The point has been made often but it looks as if it can't be made often enough--a health care system driven by the profit motive isn't going to be distinguished by its humanitarian concerns. You the patient are apt to find yourself without access to health care if you happen to live in a poorer neighborhood, for instance.
