Title: Amazon introduces supermarket shopping with no checkout lines
Post by: agate on January 23, 2018, 04:50:26 pm
In Seattle Amazon has opened a grocery store with no checkout lines. You go in, put your selected items in your shopping bags, get issued a receipt as the store's sensors know what you've selected, and leave the store without waiting in a checkout line. It may be a while before this type of store opens up in every town, but if the idea catches on, there probably won't be any more shoplifting....

And people with MS will be especially glad to be spared the checkout lines.
