As someone who's had MS for 40 years now, maybe I've learned a few ways of getting along with it. The most important lesson it has taught me, over the years, is that sleeping well is absolutely essential.  This article from the Atlantic includes the valuable notion that overthinking difficulty sleeping is a bad idea.
