Title: Glatopa dosage 20 mg 3 times a week?
Post by: agate on September 15, 2022, 09:17:26 pm
If anyone reading here happens to be able to reply to my question here, I would appreciate it.

For almost 2 years now I've been taking generic Copaxone (Glatopa) at the usual 3-times-a-week dosage of 40 mg each time (or a total of 120 mg/week).  I've had some problems with lumps at injection sites, and most recently I've had a lump for 2 weeks now. It is slowly decreasing in size, and it isn't painful any more, but I did give a call to the Glatopa support line.

It is said to be available 24/7 but they took several days to get back to me.  The nurse I spoke with very tentatively suggested that, because of my age, maybe I could reduce the dosage to 20 mg 3 times a week. At first I thought she meant returning to the original dosage of 20 mg daily but that isn't what she meant.

Has anyone tried this reduced dosage?
