US President-elect Donald Trump has been picking his administration, and is appointing Stephen Bannon, who has been the head of the alt-right Breitbart News until he became attached to the Trump campaign as its CEO, to the post of chief strategist and senior counsellor.

As the article states,

Under Bannonís leadership, Breitbart News has featured racism, misogyny, anti-Semitism, and anti-LGBT rhetoric.

I don't want to spread alarmist talk around when there's no need for it. I hope that the Trump Presidency might turn out to be somewhat bland, maybe like the Eisenhower Presidency, thanks to those Republicans in Congress who don't have much use for the Donald. They might be able to sit on him for 4 years and prevent some of the changes he seems to be serious about.

But so far, things aren't looking very good.
