It's clear from this article in Multiple Sclerosis News Today (September 21, 2018) that the drug companies are keenly aware that those with SPMS represent a largely untapped potential market and are trying hard to find something to offer.  It's also clear that the success Ocrevus is currently enjoying seems to be at least partly due to the extensive marketing campaign to promote it for very early treatment of MS.
