Blood in the urine seems to be rather common in MS patients who are inclined to develop urinary tract infections (UTIs).   CT scans are often done when there is hematuria, but now they're finding that the there are problems with the CT scans that outweigh the advantages of having them done--and so fewer of them may be done in the future when there is blood in the urine.
