An editorial in JAMA (October 27, 2016), by Lindsay E. Nicolle,  MD,  of the University of Manitoba, discussing an article in the same issue, strongly advises against promoting cranberry juice or cranberry supplements as beneficial in preventing UTIs. There has never been any clear evidence of any benefit.
