(JAMA) Time to rethink nursing homes

I have known several people with MS who have had to finish out their lives in nursing homes even though they were often much younger than the typical nursing home resident. For anyone in a nursing home, life is usually far from ideal, and all too often the conditions are poor and even dangerous. For someone much younger than the typical resident, the conditions are even sadder.
