(JAMA) Vitamin D and calcium for prevention of fractures

From JAMA (December 20, 2019), "Vitamin D and calcium for the prevention of fracture:  A systematic review and meta-analysis," finds that vitamin D supplementation alone has no effect on preventing fractures, but when combined with added calcium, there is an effect:
