Osteoporosis often comes along in addition to MS, especially for women. Then the question is whether to start bisphosphonate therapy. This has been recommended for me a few times, and each time I've declined. It still looks like a rather risky type of drug to me.

If you can look at the poll results, 64% voted for discontinuing bisphosphonate therapy in the case that is described and only 35% voted for continuing it.
