FIT test for those who don't want a colonoscopy?
« on: March 11, 2019, 07:51:54 pm »
People with MS should avoid stressful experiences whenever possible, or so the advice goes, and one stressful experience we can probably avoid is the colonoscopy, according to this 2017 article from Berkeley Wellness, recommending the FIT (fecal immunochemical test) as often a very adequate substitute. It's not "appealing" but the colonoscopy strikes many people as far less appealing.
