5 fruits and vegetables a day optimal for survival

According to this, summarized and cited in the New England Journal of Medicine Journal Watch (March 1, 2021), consuming 5 fruits and vegetables a day was found to be optimal for survival. Interestingly, starchy vegetables, potatoes, and juices were "not associated with lower mortality."
