Another high calorie offering from Olive Garden
« on: August 19, 2018, 02:45:10 pm »
Keeping weight within normal range can be a constant battle, especially with MS, but it's an important battle because it seems as if every pound added makes our muscles work harder just to accomplish everyday movements like lifting and reaching.  Of course it's good to make our muscles work harder. It keeps them from losing their tone. But excess weight isn't an ideal way to force them to keep moving. It all too often has the opposite effect. The more weight we carry, the less we're inclined to do because we're getting too tired.

So I tend to emphasize diet and nutrition here. Here's another negative review of an Olive Garden offering.  People who care about seeing people eat more nutritious food have to keep calling attention to the outrageously high calorie, high fat meals and snacks being sold at fast-food eateries and chain restaurants in the US (and now apparently spreading worldwide).
