For many years I used Medicaid-funded home health aid services, and many of my neighbors are currently using these services, which are very important in helping to maintain people in their homes by assisting them with shopping, laundry, housework, and personal care. This article indicates that there have been problems with cutbacks in these services since the COVID-19 pandemic--and that will be very unfortunate for many people.
