Regular nut consumption tied to less weight gain

Since nuts are considered fats, at least so far as diabetic diets are concerned, it is somewhat surprising that eating nuts regularly might lead to less weight gain, but that is what this study maintains. From NEJM Journal Watch (September 24, 2019):
