Advanced practice clinicians as a resource in neurology?

Neurologists are part of the lives of people with MS. But the wait to see one can be long, and there are those neurologists who aren't so very competent. Some of the reasons behind this situation are mentioned in this controversial article, which isn't accessible in its entirety, but the comments on it are viewable, and are coming from people who seem to know what they're talking about.
