Health risks of interferons for MS disclosed by study

Some information comes out only after considerable time passes. The authors of a study investigated the medical records of 2,000 British Columbians between 1995 and 2008 in an effort to identify adverse events in connection with taking interferon drugs for MS. They found a 1.8-fold increased risk of stroke and some slightly greater risk of migraine, depression and blood abnormalities.  "Study uncovers potential risks of common MS treatment," from MS Focus (the MS International Federation), March 29, 2018:
